2 Hour Hunt at the Inner Harbor

Did not find much...The place is a trash pit, and they are constantly digging up the place now...Nothing but clad, cans, pulltabs and screw caps...Also a LOT of lead slag...Probably from pipe fitting.
Oldest coin was 1958 Nickel...

2 Hours Back at Porter School Lot

May be the last for the year...It is getting cold out, and the snow is starting to fly, so with the sun shining, but the winds blowing, I headed to a local park I have hunted and found my 1859 Indian head in...No Silver today, but I got pretty close on a few dates...
Found this busted locket and key

And a bunch of clad with some 1960s coins in there

Back to the Mountain Top

Went back up to the Mountain Top to finish the small field there...Someone has hunted this field in the past 5 years besides me...I could tell this because they took most of the quarters and dimes and DISCed out the nickles and pennies (which I found)/
My take for 2 hours time...Not shown is the 3 lbs of can slaw I dug trying for gold in the 40-50 VDI range...I knew most of it was junk, but what the heck...I will not have to hit on it next year...
The tag is from a key fob or gym bag tag from our local Solvay High School...GO Bearcats!!!

2 Hours back in Wood's Field

Went back to my local Village Ball Fields that I have pounded for the last 6 years...I am amazed at what the AT Pro finds that my other detectors left behind...
Hunted for 2 hours and got $2.28 in clad...Oldest coins were 1966 and 1967 Quarters and 1968 cent
I got my new 8.5x11 DD coil tonight and have to send my bad one back tomorrow...Will have to test the new one out tomorrow.

Weird coin found in pocket change from Wal-Mart

It is the size of a dime, has the reverse of a dime on one side and the reverse image of a penny on the other...What is this coin, who made it, and why?
Image on right is real dime...Image on left is fake coin

An Hour and a Half on the Mountain Top

Well, we have an area near me called the "Mountain Top"...It is literally on a hill about 100 feet above the flats below...In days gone bye, firefighters had to run all the way from the factories down below up this hill to get to the firehouse...I'm tired just thinking about it.
Well, I had an hour and a half to kill, so what better way to do it than to do a little dirt fishing...
Oldest coins were the 1954D Wheat, 1964, 67, 68 copper cents. Total $1.87

All day at a County Park

Got there at 8:30am and finished at 6pm...Long day...
Oldest coins 1960, 64, and 69 cents and 1964 nickel
Neat little squished penny with a man-o-war, and a metalic rock that is not magnetic and NOT lead...???
